Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Praise the Lord! The whole team is here safe and sound and also of good spirit. Every one is cheerful and lively. The pastor here is very much impressed by our youngsters. He said that they are very nice and polite. He is especially impressed that our youngsters are not picky with the food.
The facilities in the church are quite nice. The church is kept very nice and clean. Most areas have air conditioned.
We went to look at the school facilities yesterday. We believe that it should work. No body was bother by mosquito except me. I got quite a few bites.
Mei Shan church was opened in last March. They had Sunday gathering, not worship service, since then. Most attendants were only children. Today is the very first time this church has formal worship service. We participated in this historic moment of theirs. Besides us and children, there were three adults attending the service.
Tammy is taking good care of us. Her sisters and brother brought us a whole bunch of wide variety of delicious fruits. They drove all the way from Kao-Shiung to here. One of her brothers is coming to take us to Taichung to a restaurant famous for its goose meat tonight.
Starting from tomorrow, we are going to go on with working schedule. Got up at seven; have devotion at 7:30; breakfast at 8:00; going to school for the preparation work at 9:30, etc. Ricky is running the camp like a boot camp. Well, I exaggerate a little bit. Ricky is doing an excellent job in leading us.
Rev. Chen is getting along real well with our youngsters. As a matter of fact, he seems to be one of them now.
I will be sending this report from time to time whenever I can. If you don't think that you would have time to read this and don't want to receive this, please let me know.
